The story of our honey

Where blossoms turn to gold

It all started with a small meadow, a handful of curiosity and a love for bees that follow their own rhythm. And for honey that tastes exactly like that.

"A bee visits up to 100 blossoms before her honey stomach is full. Every drop is a journey."

Our colonies live on sunny meadows and in open woodlands in Baden-Wรผrttemberg. In spring they dance through willow and cherry blossoms, in summer through linden, blackberry and wildflowers. What emerges is not merely a product โ€” it is a place, bottled into a jar.

The bees set the pace. We watch, learn, marvel โ€” and harvest what remains once the hive is well stocked for winter.

Our Queens

๐Ÿ‘‘

Queen Honeylore learn more

Honeylore and her girls are right in the thick of it: at the open-air pool, where summer is loud, colourful and full of life. This colony has character. Sometimes also a temper. It's the colony that has cost us the most stings. And at the same time the one that keeps us most occupied and surprises us most. A queen who makes her own decisions. A colony that reminds us, time and again, that we are not the ones in charge here.

Queen Sabiene learn more

Sabiene and her girls live at the forest's edge, surrounded by wildflowers and tall trees. This colony is calm, gentle and almost serenely composed. Opening the hive often feels like being a brief guest in a small world of their own. While some colonies debate loudly, these bees work with a quiet sense of purpose. Perhaps that's exactly why their honey tastes a little of forest stillness and summer sun.
